Gomez Noya finished fourth in Dunkirk his debut in 2016
It closed with good feelings and a victory by teams, with the French club EC Satrouville, his first Triathlon in 2016.
The Spanish triathlete Javier Gómez Noya participated Sunday in the quote from Dunkirk to close with good feelings and a victory by teams, with the French club EC Satrouville, his first Triathlon in 2016.
After six months without competing, Gomez Noya met the target, with a fourth single and first place teams thanks to Kristian Blummenfeldt and Jonathan Brownlee fellow who were 2nd and 3rd. The winner was the Australian Jacob Birtwhistle (reigning world U23 and provisional 10th in the 2016 World Series).
“I was locked up at the beginning of the swimming and got a kick that has left me a black eye. So I went not well water and I had to go very strong bike to bind with the head. In principle were 6 and we managed to get 10 more,”he said.
“I have not yet the point of form to go butt running 5 km against athletes who have already competed much this season. But since then the sensations have been very good. Finished the team 2nd, 3rd and 4th has meant us to largely win the classification in this Championship”, added Gomez Noya.
After this successful debut, the following quote will be next Saturday already on the Olympic distance (1’5-40-10) on the occasion of the European Championship, which Gomez Noya has achieved in the years 2007, 2008 and 2012.
